My Diary For 2023

Every year I write a blog post about which diary system or set up I am going to use for the following twelve months. In recent years, I have moved away from a Filofax (I trialled something earlier this year - more of that in a minute) and fallen in love with the Hobonichi printed diaries. For the last two years I have used a Hobonichi Weeks as my personal planner and I won't be deviating from that this year. I have tried a Hobonichi Techo A6 a couple of times but have never managed to feel comfortable with it size-wise.  I have always lusted after the Hobonichi Cousin A5 as a main work planner so, this year, I have bitten the bullet at launch time and invested in my very first one. Hobonichi Weeks The Hobonichi Weeks is a slim diary with a yearly, monthly and weekly layout. The main section is a "week to view with notes" and there are an additional 70 note pages at the back. Amanda Brown, who owns her own Yopa Estate Agency business covering Preston, Leyland and Chorley has pulled together a group of normal everyday people to share their amazing talents with you!

Amanda, 46, who jokes about being an Estate Agent by day and aerialist by night, also runs a part time aerial fitness class at CrossFit Leyland called CirqueFit. Amanda and her best friend of many years Pam who works as a Supply Chain Expeditor at Baxi, love to get together every now and then to put on a show. They say “We don’t perform for a living but we love to get up there on stage, have fun and show everyone what we love to do”.

Amanda recently performed aerial hoop at the Marriot Preston black tie event organised by Glenn Cookson to raise money for St Catherines and the Mary O’Gara Foundation.

Amanda and Pam along with other members of the CirqueFit community will be wowing you with their balance, strength and voices as part of this “Greatest Chorley Show”

And no show would be a show without a compere. Josh who has a circus and events background, will be on the mic to entertain you throughout!

Come and see how a local community of every day people come together to share their talents and bring you some entertainment with a difference.
