Typecast

Don't the months just fly by?  It's already time for another sneak peek of the Wikio Parent Blog Rankings.  There is the usual movement up and down, a few noticeable absenses for one reason or another and a few newbies. I've always noticed that during the summer months I experience a drop in readers, comments, people sharing the posts but we all know it's only for a bit of fun, right?  In fact, even though I say I don't take much notice of my statistics, I actually have a glance at them now and again.  It's always useful to know how people are arriving on your blog, how long they stay, if they read any other posts whilst here and how/why they leave.  What do you think?  Do you scour your stats page, do you glance occasionally or do you not really care in the slightest?

And here we are again.  Another month goes by and another shift in the rankings of the Wikio Parent Blog Rankings.  So, for your delectation, here is the sneak preview of the rankings for the month of July 2011.  You can find all previous previews (try saying that without your teeth in!) by clicking on the " wikio " label on this blog post.

Editors Note:  I have updated the title of this post to account for the fact that eBuzzing have bought Wikio. Last Monday I posted a sneak preview of the Wikio Parent Blog Rankings for May .  Not everyone is interested in where they are placed on a list and, for many, these rankings are a source of much amusement and discussion.  I opened up the floor for comments which generated some questions about the validity of the Wikio rankings.  I took these questions back to Wikio Top Blogs and Neila Metz kindly offered some feedback.
