My Diary For 2023

Every year I write a blog post about which diary system or set up I am going to use for the following twelve months. In recent years, I have moved away from a Filofax (I trialled something earlier this year - more of that in a minute) and fallen in love with the Hobonichi printed diaries. For the last two years I have used a Hobonichi Weeks as my personal planner and I won't be deviating from that this year. I have tried a Hobonichi Techo A6 a couple of times but have never managed to feel comfortable with it size-wise.  I have always lusted after the Hobonichi Cousin A5 as a main work planner so, this year, I have bitten the bullet at launch time and invested in my very first one. Hobonichi Weeks The Hobonichi Weeks is a slim diary with a yearly, monthly and weekly layout. The main section is a "week to view with notes" and there are an additional 70 note pages at the back. WatAdventure : A Personalised Book For Your Mini Eco-Warrior

My 9 year old granddaughter is that in between "tween" stage where she still really likes toys but also wants to be a bit grown up when it comes to fashion and make-up. I found out that she's been learning about the environment at school and I've had all the lectures about using metal straws and having to be vigilant with my recycling so when I saw the Watadventure personalised book, I knew it would be a hit this Christmas.

is a personalisable eco-adventure book designed to empower children to save the planet

"From the Sewer to the Stars : The Rise of the WatAdventurers" is a personalisable eco-adventure book designed to empower children to save the planet - both in fiction and in real life.  Perfect for my little Greta Thunberg.

It's aimed at children aged 6 to 12 years old and you can personalise the book with their name and an avatar version of themselves on the front cover and throughout the book.

The book features two novels : "Saving Slime Town" and "Planet B".  It also incorporates activities to help the reader become a real-life planet-saver.  There is a mindfulness diary, facts and figures about the world's seven eco challenges and STEM activities, all designed to empower the next generation to work together to help protect and save the planet.

An online book builder can be found at WatAdventure which guides you through the personalisation process (the child's name and a personalised character). The book is available as both a hardback £24.99) and softback (£22.99).  It also comes with a free digital membership for children to become a WatAdventurer on WatAdventure Kids. They will be able to join a global gang of kids all over the world to work with one another to help save the earth from ecological destruction.

Disclaimer : I was provided with a copy of the book in return for my opinion. For more information please view my disclosure policy.
