My Diary For 2023

Every year I write a blog post about which diary system or set up I am going to use for the following twelve months. In recent years, I have moved away from a Filofax (I trialled something earlier this year - more of that in a minute) and fallen in love with the Hobonichi printed diaries. For the last two years I have used a Hobonichi Weeks as my personal planner and I won't be deviating from that this year. I have tried a Hobonichi Techo A6 a couple of times but have never managed to feel comfortable with it size-wise.  I have always lusted after the Hobonichi Cousin A5 as a main work planner so, this year, I have bitten the bullet at launch time and invested in my very first one. I WON A PRIZE...

I had returned to work after skiving for an hour coffee at Costa with Manda, glanced at Twitter and noticed that The Funky Pigeon had announced one of their many quick-fire Twitter competitions.  I refreshed the screen and saw that the question had been posted:





I tweeted the answer thus (I had to think for a while - it was such a hard question...):




Then the announcement came... WINNER!!!



I was invited to choose my prize (a personalised poster):

Because I sent my request in prior to 2pm, The Funky Pigeon managed to get my prize out by first class post yesterday so that the postman could knock loudly on my door at 8.30am and get me out of bed I could take receipt of my prize today.  It has now been fixed to my kitchen cupboard and looks like this:
