Vandalism

Why? Just fucking WHY?  At what point does anyone decide that it is a good idea to damage someone else's property?  It's pointless and it's petty and it costs me money that I don't fucking have to spare.  Angry?  You bet your life I'm angry!

Last night it had been raining since about half seven.  I shuffled off to bed just after midnight and thought nothing of the drunken voices drifting in through the open window as I was nodding off.  We live in an end terrace on the corner of a street so there is always "street noise".  There is also no off road parking and almost everyone around us has a car, so I park at the side of the house.  We even have people from the next street parking around our house as the parking limitations are just ridiculous.  Oh, and we live less that half a kilometre away from a Premiership Football ground, so you can imagine what match-day parking is like!

I awoke this morning to find BOTH my car windscreen wipers pulled away from the screen, the rubber ripped off one, and the metal of both wipers bent and twisted (one beyond recognition).  I bet it was HILARIOUS to do that last night, you bastards!  Especially knowing that rain had been forecast again for today.

Luckily, Kev has managed to do a botch job on them - bending them both so that they lie flat against the screen and swapping the rear wiper with the front broken one - but what if he hadn't been able to do that?   The unit isn't replaceable very easily - it is more than just the rubber - it would have required someone in a garage to do it.  I'm just FUMING!! No car, no work.  It's THAT serious.

Whoever you are - I hope you're happy.  You're on my "list".
